Choices, Challenges and Change
This course is a one day course that aims to provide learners with skills and knowledge about the choices they make and why.
The course uses individual's past experiences and possible future scenarios to develop decision making and problem solving skills.
The course also examines different types of change and how to plan for future changes.
The course aims to provide learners with tools for change management and a positive framework for change.
Course Aims:
- Provide information about good and bad choices and associated feelings.
- Develop the learners problem solving through the `7 Stages of Problem Solving`
- Raise learner's awareness of types of change.
- Increase the learner's confidence and competence in managing change.
- Develop the skills of the learner in managing and maintaining change.
- Increasing awareness of differences between externally imposed change and self-motivated change.
- Provide strategies to manage both externally imposed and self-motivated change, whilst feeling empowered.
This course will be considered as part of a completed programme of resettlement, and may be used as module of a higher certificate in Personal development.
