The Melbourne Project
The Melbourne Project provides accommodation and support for previously homeless people, and those at risk of becoming homeless, who are drinking alcohol problematically.
Its aim is to support tenants to prepare to live in more independent accommodation and to support them to settle in that accommodation. This support is provided through on-site support workers for tenants at the Melbourne Project and floating support is also provided from the project for those who have moved into more independent flats.
The floating support service also supports people who are at risk of losing their accommodation to prevent them from becoming homeless.
