Pre-Tenancy Training
This training is aimed at individuals who are about to access their own permanent accommodation. It is flexible and can be adapted to suit individual needs. The training can be run on an individual needs. The training can be run on an individual or group basis.
Pre Tenancy training considers the practicalities of viewing an offer and getting furniture, with signposting towards free furniture.
The training also looks at preparing to move and how a successful move can be achieved. It also aims to provide participants for the changes they will experience when moving into their property and how to overcome potential issues.
The training will look at what participants need to be aware of to prevent tenancies failing.
Aims Of The Training
.- To give individuals information regarding viewing offers of properties.
- To give participants information regarding getting furniture, with signposting towards free furniture sources.
- To aim to prepare participants for the changes they will experience when they move.
- To introduce ways of overcoming any potential issues when they move.
- To provide participants with information about their role in the prevention of the tenancy failing.
This course will be considered as part of a completed programme of resettlement, and may be used as module of a higher certificate in Effective Tenancy Management
